The congregation at the Greenfield Church of Christ is involved with several different aspects of ministry.
-
Our primary aim is Biblical in focus. We are to spread the gospel by preaching and teaching. We read in Mark 16:15
KJV "And he (Jesus Christ) said unto them Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature." Also in Matthew 28: 19-20
19) Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20)Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have
commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Our congregation offers Bible classes for all ages. These classes encourage each of us to be like the brethren from Berea we read about in Acts
17: 10-11 KJV 10)" And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews.
11) These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were
so.".
-
The youth program is involved with both fun/fellowship activities and also more importantly monthly devotionals and Bible
enrichment. We read from Proverbs 22:6 "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from
it."
-
Another humble aspect of our ministry involves benevolence as we read in Philippians 2:3-5 KJV "3) Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. 4) Look not every man on his own
things, but every man also on the things of others. 5) Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: ". Galatians 6:10 "As we have therefore
opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith."

We provide support for missionaries from here in the United States to several other parts of the world. We also provide
support for men dedicated to becoming preachers and desiring the educational benefits of a preaching school. We read in 1st Corinthians 16:1-3 about the support the church at Corinth provided:
(American Standard Version) "1) Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I gave order to the churches of Galatia, so also do ye. 2)Upon the
first day of the week let each one of you lay by him in store, as he may prosper, that no collections be made when I come. 3) And when I arrive, whomsoever ye shall approve, them will I
send with letters to carry your bounty unto Jerusalem:".
